I am a Senior Editor supporting the Consulting team at Baker Tilly. I edit both short-form and long-form proposals, and provide additional support to help prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, and manage editorial content. With tight deadlines, specific proposal requests, and internal style guidelines, my days are spent juggling multiple projects with a keen eye for detail, clarity, and consistency.

The consultants I am supporting work with clients in a variety of industries, including government, education, financial services, tribal and gaming, life sciences, manufacturing and consumer goods, oil and gas, retail, and technology. 

I led a small team of copywriters who were responsible for writing the product descriptions you see while shopping the site.

 

We were one of five teams in the Content department and we specialized in copy for our sister site, 6pm.com. Our expertise ranged beyond descriptions to include the copy on brand landing pages, as well as the accuracy of multiple facets on the product page.

 

From sizing and imagery to catalog integrity and inventory troubleshooting, our ultimate goal was always to provide the customer with the information they need to make an informed purchase. 

I started my career at Zappos.com as a Copywriter Intern in the summer of 2014. I was offered a full-time job and started back again that fall.

 

From there, I progressed to a Senior Copywriter Specialist and later a Lead Copywriter Specialist through courses, training, department-improving projects, and high performance.
